Watch It!

During my prayer time this morning, the Lord spoke and said, "watch your mouth!" Wow!

So many times we begin to speak things into existence simply because of the words that we use. The bible reminds us that we have power in that very thing that gets us in the most trouble, that very thing that cannot be tamed; the tongue. We have to take a step back and make sure that the conversations we indulge in, the manner in which we respond to said conversations are with pure thought and good intentions. Let's talk about this a bit further.

For example, the conversations starts good but as you continue to talk, it then turns into a quick comment about someone or something that irritates or bothers the one who began the conversation. We must not engage, although it may be difficult to refrain from adding in our two cents but again; we must not engage. Watch it! A simple twist of your words can make you seem like the one who said what was said, when in actually you were just empathizing with the other individual. Watch it!

Let me help you all as well as myself. The closer we get to God, the more power we have over the enemy. The closer we get to God, the more the enemy will slip in little nuances that will contaminate our spirits and cause us to form an unnecessary opinion about our brother or our sister. Please don't get it twisted, the mind is where it all starts, and the mouth carries out the thoughts.

I'm praying for you!
