Let's Have a Heart to Heart
There is a passage of scripture in the Bible that says, "A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned" Matthew 12:35-37. We most likely have read that scripture several times and most likely have quoted it as well. But do we really grasp the true meaning of the text. I always remind people, what ever is in you will eventually come out and what ever you consume is who you will become. So let's talk just a minute.
My husband said something to me upon our first interaction a phrase that I had never heard before. You see while we were dating we really got to know one another and truth be told we are still learning one another. He said, "they suffer from LIQUID COURAGE!" I immediately became perplexed and asked, "what does that mean?" He went on to explain that LIQUID COURAGE is when someone has been wanting to say something to you for a long time and they only find the nerve to say it when they are under "AN INFLUENCE"! I stepped back and had to think about someone who is inebriated. And in fact he was absolutely right. I brought up this example because it is now time for you to have a HEART TO HEART without being under AN INFLUENCE. There are situations that you have needed to address and have not done so. There areas that you need to rectify and you have not done so. Don't wait until anger or intoxication enters before you regain your PEACE OF MIND!
I'm praying for you,
