Faithful Fruit

The Lord never required us to be perfect, He simply required us to be faithful. Life is filled with many ups and downs, twists and turns, so much so until it can literally feel as though you are on a roller coaster from hell! But I simply came to inform you that your faithfulness will produce the desired fruit. The Word speaks about fruit in great detail. One of the scriptures that rings out in my ear is Luke 6:43-45, “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

My brothers and sisters, I want you to go back and read the text for clarity one more time before moving on through this blog...I'll wait! Now in this passage Luke talks about three specific things and they are the tree, the fruit, and the heart. Go with me for just a moment, the topic of discussion says FAITHFUL FRUIT! In order for us to produce said fruit, our tree must posses the attributes required to reap the harvest which then allows our hearts to align with those things, those ideals, those desires that we seek to attain. There was a time when we as children of God felt that we would never get to "the promise land", but I came to remind you that your faithfulness is getting ready to payoff.

Those silent tears you cried, those seeds that you sowed out of your need, those sacrifices you made to make sure others were able to survive, those encouraging words you gave when you yourself needed encouraging, it's coming to fruition. All of that my dear children simply allowed you to fertilize your soil, gave your roots time to take a hold....and now is the hour to reap because of your faithfulness. Remember to keep you heart pure, keep your intentions and motives in check, and watch MY GOD do the rest!

I'm praying for you.
